JL Baden-Württemberg (3rd Day)
Day 3, Round 5 (plus optional fun-impromptu Round 6): Saturday 3rd March 2012
Motion Round 5: "THW ban fireworks."
Venues:
Group 1: Walahfrid-Strabo-Gymnasium, Rheinstetten
Group 2: Georg-Büchner-Gymnasium, Winnenden
Group 3: Friedrich-Abel-Gymnasium, Vaihingen/Enz
Group 4: Karls-Gymnasium, Stuttgart
1/4 finals: Saturday 24th March - venue undecided (possibly at Schubart-Gymnasium, Ulm).
1/4 finals motion: TBA on Saturday 3rd March (Round 7) - assuming the Motions Committee have made the motion available
National Final Dates Announced
The national Junior League finals will take place between 27th and 29th April 2012 at the Jugendherberge Würzburg. This will be DSG's second visit to the hostel in 2012 and we are grateful to the administrators for permitting two debating competitions there in one year!
The 6 best teams from around the country will compete against each other over the 3 days and the winner selected after the Grand Final on the 29th. Preliminaries will take place in the individual states.
Junior League (South) registration now open
The following dates have been set for this year's Junior League. Registration begins THU 20 OCT and ends 5 NOV. The draw will therefore be sent out right after the BaWü fall break.
Rounds 1 & 2 Saturday 26th November 2011.
Rounds 3 & 4 Saturday 21st January 2012.
Rounds 5 & 6 in early March.
